Yesterday while traveling the metro
something struck me, a girl was chatting to her mother on whatsapp!!
Well chatting on whatsapp is not weird
but talking to ones mother was. I don’t want to call it weird but different. I haven’t
seen many girls talking to their mothers and enjoying it. Is it because we are
not interested in talking to them or think that they are very old fashioned to
understand our thought process?
Well this can be a reason! We are going
too fast towards fulfilling our dreams and forgetting about our relations and
family. Even the parents do not try to understand their children. Lack of
communication, and stubbornness from both the sides evolved in something like a
private bubble, a clandestine life where the young generation does not like
their parents to interfere.
If the society is becoming modern then
what is wrong with our mentalities. Why can’t we keep up being modern still
connected to our roots. The parents and the children both have to evolve a
flexible relationship instead of becoming too rigid about their choices,
likings, customs and traditions.
C’mon mom dads get your glares on and
have a day out with your dear kiddos!!!
